E.L.O. in Atlantic City

The concert was very enjoyable. To be honest I had forgotten how many hits E.L.O. had. From "Living Thing" to "Telephone Line" to "Mr Blue Sky" they had the audience moving - OK their audience isn't 20 anymore but it was a good mix - actually a lot of people were there with their young kids. The music is happy sounding - even when their taking about an "Evil Woman". Glen Burtnick (formerly of Styx) is part of their band now.  

This slot machine is the first legal slot machine in Atlantic City.

Our next trip

We're going to Atlantic City New Jersey (one of Marlene's favorite getaways) in a few days.
Hopefully we'll have nice weather - our last trip was in a "monsoon"-like storm that kept us from enjoying the "other" non-casino aspects of this seaside town. We have tickets to see E.L.O. (Electric Light Orchestra).

Hopefully I can get some pictures - probably won't be in the water like folks were last August.

The flood of 2010

You don't always need to travel far to experience memorable occasions.

Tragic occurrences are certainly memorable.
